Hopefully where-ever you are, it is much nicer weather than it currently is over here.
Lately, I’ve been working on some little projects on the side that I am so excited to be sharing with you guys soon!
Wait. Something’s different!
Yes! ReadWriteLive is now re-branded as A Novel Idea!
I’ve been mulling over a name that encompasses everything I dream this blog to be; A place where I share my love of books with the world and a place I can work toward becoming a better writer/share the bits that I have written.
While my blog isn’t exactly a new concept, being one of millions out there, it is something new and unprecedented to me.
As someone who has issues of putting herself out there from fear of failure (I’m working on it), I would’ve never in a million years thought I would be running a blog. Let alone, start one this year.
How did you come up with the name?
I didn’t. A friend of mine did. I had told them I had a literary blog and they couldn’t resist the pun. “What a Novel Idea!” they said and after much laughter at such a bad pun, they suggested I rename my blog. I could help but love it!
I thought it over for almost two weeks now, researched to see if anyone had bought out the name, and if anyone had named their blog as such.
Needless to say, I was super excited to see that no one had bought out the .net name (.org and .com are owned by a company although none are in use).
While ReadWriteLive represented the core of what this blog is to be, I always felt like it was too stiff. Not as witty nor eye catching.
Hopefully, you all enjoy the new name as I am and continue to enjoy my blog.
