Top 5 Fantasy books: 2018

Happy Sunday Everyone! I hope everyone’s had a productive reading week!

If you are new here, Welcome to my blog! If you are stopping by again, Thank you for reading! <3

Today’s post is going to be all about my Top 5 Fantasy books for 2018. If you didn’t check out my post for my Top 5 Contemporary NA books for 2018, go over and take a look.

Fantasy has always been my go-to genre, even when I was in elementary school. I would go to the library and grab any fantasy book I could get my hands on. It started with Mythology books, stemmed into Harry Potter, and then The Chronicles of Narnia. I was hooked!

I was completely taken away to another world where magic and wonder existed, where my imagination was fueled. I even started making my own Fantasy picture books in 3rd grade. [A special thanks to Ms.Pallay for allowing me to read my poorly drawn picture book series about a girl and her adventures to defeat a thousand-year-old witch to the class]

Last year, I read such a great range of books but here were my Top 5 for Fantasy:

1. Tithe by Holly Black

2. The Bird and the Sword by Amy Harmon

3. Air Awakens by Elise Kova

4. A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas

5. Stolen SongBird by Danielle L. Jensen *

* Re-read book
