I had no idea on what to post today…..I have several unfinished book reviews and half-completed posts to choose from, but none of them felt like something I wanted to post. I saw this tag on kjeanette‘s blog and thought, Why not? Would I ever miss a chance to talk about some of my favorite books?? Of course not. It’s not Tuesday but let’s pretend it is.
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June 2010. On January 2018 it was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl.
As a long-time bookworm, there have been many books that I have completely devoured in one sitting. I have years of experience and even though I’m older and have other responsibilities, I feel like I still manage to devour a book from time to time. Here are just some of the many books I’ve read in one sitting.
Top 10 Books I’ve read in one sitting:
- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K Rowling**
- Frost Bite by Richelle Mead
- Spirit Bound by Richelle Mead
- Crown Of Midnight by Sarah J Maas
- A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas
- Wall of Winnipeg and Me by Mariana Zapata
- Luna and the Lie by Mariana Zapata
- Vampire Kisses by Ellen Schreiber
- Soulless by Gail Carriger
- Graceling by Kristin Cashore
** While I no longer support this author and haven’t re-read the series in a very long time, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was the first book I’ve ever completed in the same day as I picked it up. It took 11-year-old me 8 hours and my mother was so angry at me for finishing it so quickly, that she never went to a book release ever again…ha!
Like many other books, the list above have either led the way for me to discover more like them, uplifted me when I needed, or inspired me to dream of wonderful stories. They are really just the tip of a very large bookish iceberg!

What were some books you finished in one sitting? Have you re-read them?
Let me know in the comments below!!
XOXOXO,
Jeimy
