Happy Tuesday everyone! I hope the weekend went well for all of you!

Im weak! I know!
But I digress.
These are more reactions than reviews, full reviews will come soon but I just wanted to give you guys an update on my progress <3

Every time I re-read this book, I get reminded of why I love it so much. It was captivating from beginning to end. I love love love Celaena and her sassy attitude. She reminds me of a certain High lord I know. *wink wink* The love triangle dynamic is something I always kind of scrunch my nose at, especially since I prefer Dorian over Chaol. But that’s just me. 🙂

The plot thickens! My heart truly breaks for Dorian in this one.
I love how we are slowly seeing the characters grow. There are so many secrets and Maas is literally micro-feeding it to us! And that ending! I didn’t really care for Chaol before and now I am sitting on the anti-Chaol wagon. Honestly, this book was better than the first. A solid 5/5 for me 🙂

Two word. ROWAN WHITEHORN.
That’s it. That’s the mini review. Slapping a 5/5 on this and calling it a day.
But seriously, I gobbled up this almost 600 page book in two days. I was hooked from beginning to end. Celaena’s and Dorian’s growth have been such a wonder to read. Chaol can still go to heck but he’s growing on me. kinda….not really so much. But I am rooting his character changes or begins to change soon.
I love how Maas introduces new places and continues to build this gorgeous world. Not to mention, The king is such a great villain. I hope we get to see his story soon because I have so many questions!
Rowan and the Cadre….Maeve…MANON….There are so many players now that I can feel the tensions rise from the pages….I cannot wait for what’s next!
