November Recap
November was a slow month reading wise. I read half a book. HALF A BOOK.
Not because I wanted to, but because I had to slow down for a while. As I mentioned before, I’ve been overwhelming myself quite a bit lately. The holidays and the increase of pace at work don’t make it any better. So I made the decision to slow down. I’ve been reading a chapter a day since week 2 of November, right before bed. Even going as far as skipping a few nights of reading to enjoy doing nothing/spending more time at the gym (summer body 2020 here we come).
It’s been hard….willingly choosing not to read/stop reading as much. I always ALWAYS want to read one more chapter. And seeing all the books I have yet to read….I feel like one day my TBR is going to come to life and beat me up for neglecting it.
But the slow-down was much-needed. I’m recharged and ready to go back to reading more than one chapter a day!
Blog-wise November was a good month for some reflection. As the end of the year nears and A Novel Idea’s first birthday gets closer and closer, there are several things that have come to mind as far as changes and ideas. I’ve already started to implement a few: Over Coffee discussion posts, You should be reading meme, and slowly converting A Novel Idea to being a bilingual book blog.

I hope you have a great December and get your TBR read! The Near Witch is one of the few Schwab books I haven’t read. I need to get my hands on that one.
