When you are an avid and a fast reader, books seem to just end too quickly.
I mean it hasn’t been a full month since my last book haul and I’m already 71% done with the haul.
But looking at my bookcase and at my small room, I realized this morning that I did not have space for more books….granted, another bookcase. So I stared and stared, a little depressed that I was going to be finished with the ones I haven’t read so soon.
My eyes fell on a book I hadn’t enjoyed yet still read, still kept in my personal library; took in the dust and the perfect pages from disuse. Then another. And another. When finally, it struck me and I couldn’t believe I hadn’t done so years ago.
I could donate them. I could get rid of the handful of books I only read once and disliked then buy new ones!
