June Book Haul

June Book Haul 1

This post should be called “June’s Jennifer L Armentrout book haul and 1 Emily Duncan”. All of these books were of high priority on my want list. Especially From Blood and Ash since it’s a Vampire big boii and we know how much of a sucker (heh get it) I am for Vampires.

Storm and Fury and Rage and Ruin by Jennifer L Armentrout are a spin-off from the Dark Elements series. It brings back all our favorite characters (cough ROTH cough) in a brand-new fight against evil. This time around the series centers over Golden Boy Gargoyle, Zayne and a new female character called Trinity Marrow

From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L Armentrout is a brand new story for JLA. The story centers a girl named Poppy who was chosen from birth to be the Maiden and usher a new age for her people. She can never be looked upon, touched, or spoken to amongst other things. But Poppy would rather be fighting against the evil that plagues their world than sitting around being guarded. In comes Hawke. A guard, honor-bound to her in order to secure her ascension. He makes her question her beliefs, and most of all her duties.

Ruthless Gods by Emily A Duncan is the sequel to her debut novel, Wicked Saints. Following the events of the first book our trio, Nadya, Serefin and Malachiazs realize that things are worse than they thought. Nadya does not trust her magic anymore, her beliefs no longer clear. Serefin hears voices in the dark. And our monster boy, Malachiazs is at war with what he’s become. Something bigger is at play here and our heroes are just pieces on an ancient chessboard.

I love the series! It gives you those corny high school vibes but the story gets better with each book. I’m excited to see where she takes the characters with this new series. 🙂
