Bookish Posts, Hauls

Jeimy and the most impulsive book haul she’s ever done

My finger definitely slipped and pressed that check out button whilst I was admiring my amazon cart. The funny thing is that at first, I didn’t go into amazon with the intention of doing a book haul. I was just looking at the amazon prime day deals and day dreaming about all the books that I’ve added to my cart. But then, I began to self encourage.

Tell myself that I deserved these books. It’s been a while since I’ve bought myself something nice and my order from Baecrate seems to be perpetually stuck in customs. Buying these books wasnt a bad idea. In fact, I hadn’t had a better idea in a while. Do the book haul, jeimy. Do it!

And then your girl ordered 6 books physical books on impulse.

Jeimy and the most impulsive book haul she’s ever done

It’s not like I’m deprived of books….I have a massive TBR pile that I should probably get to. However, these books called to me. I was weak against their song, a puppet to their synopsis. On top of that, it was Amazon Prime day and some were DISCOUNTED.

How could I resist?

Biggest Book Haul

Spinning Silver by Naomi Novik: I’ve had this book in my cart for MONTHS. Ever since I read Uprooted last year. I’ve heard great things about this book so I’m very excited to read it.

Kingdom of Flesh and Fire by Jennifer L Armentrout: This author needs no explanation nor introduction if you’re a frequent reader here at You know how hard I stan JLA. From Blood and Ash DESTROYED ME and I need answers NOW. If you haven’t read my review on From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L Armentrout, you can read it here!

Deadly Education by Naomi Novik: Her newest series and it’s a dark academia novel! I’ve been looking for some magic school reads this fall and since I’ve had such a good experience with Novik before, why not add this book to the book haul?

The Damned by Renee Ahdien: The Beautiful was an amazingly written book and I’d had my eye on The Damned for a while. Much like Spinning Silver, it’s been sitting on my amazon cart all this time. I can’t wait to cuddle up with a hot cup of coffee on a cloudy and snowy day and read this book! You can read my review on The Beautiful by Renee Ahdien here!

Kingdom of the Wicker by Kerri Maniscalco: Witches? Demons? Murder? Sign me UP! This author is a new one for me and to be completely honest, I would’ve skipped over this book if it weren’t for the cover. The cover completely captured my attention but then when I read the synopsis, I knew this was up my alley. The book comes out on October 27th!

Deal with the Elf King by Elise Kova: I’ve been an Elise Kova fan since I read Air Awakens back when she first self-published it. We all know I love elves, magic, and anything fae and fantasy. Obviously a preorder was in order LOL
