It’s the last day of April! Make way for May Flowers!
Thank you Sam from fictionallysam.com & Clo from
bookdragons247.wordpress.com for creating this event! I look forward to participating in the next one!
Today’s BESpring2019 prompt is an original book tag by none other than the wonderful Sam!

Planning | A book that is completely thought out.
For this one I have to say Punk 57 by Penelope Douglas. Every time I re-read this book I find little things that contribute to the plot that I missed in the previous read through. And the way it incorporates characters from her other book series without it being over the top/ forced, got to give it to Penelope.
Focus | A book that kept your undivided attention
Uprooted by Naomi Novik [you can read my review on it by clicking on the link]. I was enthralled from beginning to end. The story, the setting, the characters! Ugh. I wish the book had been longer!
Delegating | A book that should have been a series
The Gathering Dark by Christine Johnson. I feel like the book could’ve really flourished if it had been a series.
Small goals | Name a book below 150 pages that you loved
*Has never read anything below 250 pages*
Peak Hours | A series you could only read at a certain time
Vampire Academy Series by Richelle Mead. I sometimes find myself re-reading this series in the fall going into winter.
Lists | A book that you finally crossed off your TBR
Heir of Fire by Sarah J Maas. I waited all these years until the series was completed to begin reading it again and I’m so glad I did.
I’m currently doing a series run with the TOG series and Heir of Fire is my favorite one at the moment.
Proactive | A book that is/was ahead of its time
Tithe by Holly Black.
I read Tithe a long time ago; Before Fae became a big thing in the book world. I knew that Holly Black was starting something great then and I still back that up now.
Declutter | A series you wish you could unread
Like Sam, The Fallen Series take the number one spot.
There are so many other series I wish I could unread but The Fallen takes the cake due to the fact that it was a disappointment.
It had so much promise!
Multi-tasking | books that you read at the same time
- Falling Under by Gwen Hayes
- My Blood Approves (My Blood Approves, #1) by Amanda Hocking
- Stolen Songbird (The Malediction Trilogy, #1)by Danielle L. Jensen
