Happy Saturday lovely bookworms!

#BEWinter19 is in motion and I’ve been having such a fun time reading everyone’s answers. I think I’ve done the most blog hopping this week than I did all of September – November put together…I’m a horrible blog hopper

For those of you who haven’t joined the fun or want to discover some amazing blogs, I highly suggest in taking a look at the annoucement post over at Clo’s blog!

Today’s prompt was created by the fantastic Tabatha @ Broken Soul Reviews. Don’t forget to head over to her blog to check out the original prompt and while you’re add it, check out her other amazing posts!

Sport-tacular Christmas

Tis the Season for Sports! I don’t know about you, but when I think winter, I think sports. There’s hockey; football and many others going on at the same time. Nothing makes me happier than some snow, an arena, a sheet of ice and men adorned in hockey uniforms fighting for that win! What sport (or sports) does it for you? Who is your favourite team(s)? Favourite Player(s)? — but above all; I want to know what your favourite Book and/or Series featuring a sport player is!

I’m not big into sports…..Honestly, I don’t find the joy in them like other people do. I tend to space off and daydream about all the other things I could be doing. It doesn’t matter how many dreamy men in uniforms there are in the TV screen, I will take a moment to appreciate then wander off to daydream land.

But here’s the thing, three years ago I discovered that I LOVE Sports-romance books.

It all started with Dirty English by Ilsa-Madden Mills. It was the first sports-ish related New Adult Novel that I had ever read and I devoured the book in one sitting, as one does when they discover something they can obsess about. From there it stemmed into The Deal by Elle Kennedy which promptly led me to fall in love with the rest of her Off-Campus series, then The Powers That Be by Harper Bentley, How to Date a Douchebag series by Sara Ney, Rusk University series by Cora Carmack, The Field Party series by Abbi Glines, and finally discovering Mariana Zapata through her book The Wall of Winnipeg and Me.

I’ve read so many sports-related novels in the last three years, you would think I enjoyed Sports in real life. I don’t know what it is about the stories but they interest me more than actually sitting and watching sports on tv.

Which sports are you interested in?What’s your favorite sports novel? Let me know in the comments below or drop the link to your post!
