A Very Potter Christmas!
If you are anything like me, you have one healthy (or rather unhealthy) obsession with all things Harry Potter! Christmas/Winter time in Potter land has always been one of my favourites. It introduced us to Hogsmeade and opened up a door to tons of adventure for the crew. Today, we are taking a trip – right down to Hogsmeade, to grab ourselves some Butterbeer and talk about the upcoming Winter Ball! To get us in the Potter Winter Ball Spirit; there are some things I want to know about all of you!
- What is your favorite Harry Potter Book and why?
- Who is your favorite Potter Character (or top 3 if you wish) and why?
- Which Harry Potter Character will YOU be taking to the ball? And why?
The Harry Potter books and movie adaptations will always hold a special place in my heart. It was the first ever series that I read from start to finish, it was the first series that I made my mother go to midnight releases for and the first that I ever read that had 500+ pages. They are books that I feel like should be set as an option for summer reading for the kids nowadays, haha!
1. What is your favorite Harry Potter Book and why?
My favorite Harry Potter book is The Goblet of Fire. There was so much action right off the bat! The Quidditch World cup chapters were amazing! The yule ball, the triwizard cup matches, VIKTOR KRUM!
He was the first ever book character that I had a crush on….(Yes I didn’t have a crush on Harry or Ron or Malfoy).
2. Who is your favorite Potter Character (or top 3 if you wish) and why?
Luna Lovegood and Voldemort.
Luna? She was a great supporting character. Her and Harry’s friendship was amazing. She never questioned Harry and his experiences. She accepted them wholeheartedly and Harry did the same.
Voldemort? Tom Marvolo Riddle was a sociopathic a****le but I enjoyed his character. I enjoyed reading the small snippets of backstory that we got throughout the series that painted a picture as to how he ended up so. It’s hard to write an interesting villain and I feel like Voldemort was well written.
3. Which Harry Potter Character will YOU be taking to the ball? And why?
If Viktor Krum hadn’t asked Hermione…..*sighs* I used to dream of dancing with Viktor at the yule ball.

¡Una Navidad muy Potter!
¡Si eres como yo, tienes una obsesión saludable (o más bien poco saludable) con todas las cosas de Harry Potter! El tiempo de Navidad / Invierno en la tierra de Potter siempre ha sido uno de mis favoritos. Nos presentó a Hogsmeade y abrió una puerta a toneladas de aventura para la tripulación. Hoy, estamos haciendo un viaje, ¡hasta Hogsmeade, para tomar cerveza de mantequilla y hablar sobre el próximo baile de invierno! Para meternos en el espíritu Potter Winter Ball; ¡Hay algunas cosas que quiero saber sobre todos ustedes!

Los libros de Harry Potter y las adaptaciones cinematográficas siempre tendrán un lugar especial en mi corazón. Fue la primera serie que leí de principio a fin, fue la primera serie que hice que mi madre fuera a los lanzamientos de medianoche y la primera que leí que tenía más de 500 páginas. Son libros que creo que deberían ser una opción de lectura de verano para los niños de hoy en día, ¡jaja!
1.¿Cuál es tu libro favorito de Harry Potter y por qué?
Mi libro favorito de Harry Potter es El cáliz de fuego. ¡Hubo tanta acción desde el principio! ¡Los capítulos de la Copa Mundial de Quidditch fueron increíbles! ¡La bola de yule, los partidos de la copa de los tres magos, VIKTOR KRUM!
Fue el primer personaje del libro del que me enamoré … (Sí, no estaba enamorado de Harry, Ron o Malfoy).
2. ¿Quién es tu personaje Potter favorito (o los 3 mejores si lo deseas) y por qué?
Luna Lovegood, Voldemort, Viktor.
Luna? Ella era un gran personaje secundario. La amistad de ella y Harry fue increíble. Ella nunca cuestionó a Harry y sus experiencias. Ella los aceptó de todo corazón y Harry hizo lo mismo.
Voldemort? Tom Marvolo Riddle era un sociopata, pero disfruté su personaje. Disfruté leyendo los pequeños fragmentos de historia de fondo que obtuvimos a lo largo de la serie que pintaban una imagen de cómo terminó así. Es difícil escribir un villano interesante y siento que Voldemort estaba bien escrito.

3. ¿Qué personaje de Harry Potter llevarás a la pelota? ¿Y por qué?
Si Viktor Krum no le hubiera preguntado a Hermione ….. * suspira* Solía soñar con bailar con Viktor en el baile de Navidad.
