A Novel Idea

A to Z Book Tag: A Bookish Life

Hello fellow Bookworms! I hope you’ve all had productive weeks!

I’m currently staying at a relatives house and have to write my posts on my phone, so I apologize for the formatting.

Today I decided to do my first ever A to Z book tag post! SOFII @ A BOOK. A THOUGHT always posts these and they look so fun to do.

So here we go!

|A|  author you’ve read the most books from

Jennifer L Armentrout holds first place right now with me having read 13 of her books. :O

Following her is Sarah J Maas with me having read 10 of her books so far.

|B| the best sequel ever

A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas is hands down the best sequel I have read to date.

|C|  currently reading

Stone Cold Touch by Jennifer L Armentrout.

|D|  drink of choice while reading

Coffee ☕️ or Chamomile tea 🍵

|E|  e-reader or physical copy?

I’m mostly a physical copy kind of woman but with my limited space, e-readers are a huge help!

|F|  fictional character you would have dated in high school

Ohhh, this is such a hard one!! Can I pick multiple? Lol But If I have to pick just one….

Dorian Hallivard from the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J Maas. Young Jeimy and him would’ve been reallllllyyy good friends.

|G|  glad you gave this book a chance

The Deal by Elle Kennedy.

I didn’t really thing I was going to be into Sport-contemporary romance but this book changed that.

|H|  hidden gem book

The Emperors Arrow by Lauren D.M Smith.

When I first read it, it had 3 stars in good reads and not a lot of reviews. I was skeptical but I loved it.

|I|  important moment in your reading life

Starting this blog and connecting with fellow bookworms! You guys have been such a welcoming community <3

|J|  just finished

White Hot KISS by Jennifer L Armentrout.

|K| kind of books you won’t read

Books with human trafficking, rape, and incestual romances. These are hard limits for me.

|L|  longest book you have ever read

I thought Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was going to be it but Sarah J Maas’s Kingdom of Ash came and stole the number one spot!

|M|  major book hangover because of…

A Court of Wings and Ruin.

|N|  number of bookcases you own

Just one for now. I don’t have much room yet.

|O|  one book you’ve read multiple times

Bully by Penelope Douglas.

Every time I read it, it’s like the first time all over again.

|P|  preferred place to read

In my room, specifically on my decorative faux fur rug.

|Q|  quote that inspires you

“To the stars who listen- and the dreams that are answered.”

|R|  reading regret

Evernight by Claudia Gray.

|S|  series you started and need to finish (all books are out)

The Grisha Verse by Leigh Bardugo. I started and haven’t gone around to finish it.

|T|  three of your all-time favorite books

A Courts of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Mass.

Frostbite by Rachelle Mead.

Punk 57 by Penelope Douglas.

|U|  unapologetic fangirl for

A Court of Thorns and Roses Series (obviously) and the Vampire Academy Series

|V|  very excited for this release

Crescent City by Sarah J Mass. 2020 is so far away! I need it tomorrow! Lol

Or the Nessian Novel! (Please Sarah, just give us something!)

|W|  worst bookish habit

Buying a lot of books even when I haven’t finished the ones I already have.

|X|  x marks the spot: start at the top of your shelf and pick the 27th book

Akuma De Sourou vol.5 Mistuba Takanashi

|Y|  your latest book purchase

The Dark Elements Series by Jennifer L Armentrout.

|Z|  zzz-snatcher book (the last book that kept you up way too late)

Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J Maas.

I literally stayed up all night with this book. I had to call out of work because when I finally looked up, it was daylight!
