Is it really Sunday already?!
April is literally running full speed ahead and my allergies are at an all time high! [send help!]
I cannot believe that May is right around the corner!
I’m nowhere near done Spring cleaning; I still have to finish re-designing my room and go through my closet to put away all the winter clothes.
As I haven’t yet delved into the world of Audio books, I decided to change today’s prompt to Podcasts.
The original prompt can be found here, on Sam‘s BookendSpring2019 announcement post. It was provided by the lovely, Amanda @ Between The Shelves.
I’m entirely new to podcasts. Honestly, I haven’t ventured much out into the expanding world of media but two weeks ago, something changed.
I kept seeing PODCAST PODCAST PODCAST and curiosity got the best of me. Fast forward to now, I listen to podcasts all day long. When I’m driving to work, when I’m cleaning, in the shower, while I draw or while I play World of Warcraft. Point is, If I’m not reading…I’m listening to a podcast!
I don’t have 5 for you guys like the original calls for since I just got on this train, but here are the ones I’m currently listening to:
Why did I read this?
A book podcast started by Sean and Joda where they “read books, and then give their unsolicited opinions about them in order to answer the age old question: Why Did I Read This? “
“The G Club is Game Grumps’ news, media, and pop culture podcast thing! Fill your earholes with loud arguments from everyone around the Game Grumps office! “
“Welcome to Critical Role, where a bunch of nerdy-ass voice actors sit around and play Dungeons & Dragons! Join Dungeon Master Matthew Mercer and an all-star cast of world-class performers each week as they travel through imaginary realms for more adventure than you can shake a magic staff at. Need a deeper dive? Be sure to catch Talks Machina with Brian W. Foster, the official Critical Role companion show, right here on Critical Role. “
Do you have any book podcasts you recommend? What podcasts do you listen to? Let me know in the comments below or drop the link to your podcast post! I would love to see you recommendations!
